Diamond Core Drilling is a unique type of drilling which uses a non-percussive rotary drill with a diamond drill bit. Diamond tipped drill bits are designed to penetrate the hardest surfaces including; reinforced concrete, plain concrete, masonry, tile, natural rock.

Diamond drilling can be utilized in a range of situations where precisely cut circular openings are required. Often used to create large openings for ducts, smaller openings for pipes or wiring or to taking concrete test samples, we can diamond drill to virtually any depth.

Large openings can be created by stitch drilling, and the diamond drills are capable of cutting through reinforced concrete.In this way you can create openings of unlimited size and shape, through any thickness of wall or floor.

Wall and Wire Saw cutting in RCC Concrete / Rock:

Floor Sawing:

Hydraulic Bursting in RCC / PCC Concrete / Rock:

Hydraulic Bursting:

Hydraulic Bursting is one of the safest and most efficient methods of removing reinforced or mass concrete, brickwork, or natural stone.

Hydraulic Bursters are placed in pre-drilled holes and expanded to induce controlled cracking of the material. Thus reducing it to manageable sections for removal.

What’s more, the equipment can be used in confined spaces without risk. Indeed, Corecut have used this technology to remove heavily reinforced concrete structures such as dams, bridges, and nuclear power stations where a precise, controlled system of removal was required. more

Anchor Fasteners:

Anchor fasteners are installed by first drilling a hole in the base material. The hole is slightly larger than the fastener. Then the anchor is inserted into the hole in the right manner. The distance to which the anchor penetrates into the base material is called the embedment depth.

There are essentially two types of anchor fasteners, mechanical anchor fasteners and chemical anchor fasteners.

The Metro Tunnel cross passages will be constructed from below ground within the tunnels after the tunnel boring machines (TBM) have passed through. Provided to serve two primary purposes namely, emergency escape and maintenance work. In this paper, design, construction methodology and problem encountered during construction of one such structure has been described by analyzing case of a Cross-passage being constructed by client Instructions.

The cross passages are generally constructed using traditional mining techniques to create a link between the two tunnels. These techniques typically include the use of ground treatment measures, excavators, rock breakers, rock bolting and shotcrete lining from within the tunnels. more
